The Proximity Search (Live) feature is designed to enable real-time asset tracking based on geographic proximity. This functionality is essential for operations that require immediate location insights, facilitating rapid response and effective decision-making.

Functionalities in Detail:

  • Live Asset Identification:

    • Quickly identifies assets currently located within a specific geographic radius.

    • Ideal for tracking moving or stationary assets, enhancing logistical efficiency, and improving real-time monitoring.

  • Interactive Radius Selection:

    • Users can define the search radius precisely to cover relevant geographic areas.

    • Provides flexibility to focus on specific operational zones or assets clustered within a certain proximity.

  • Real-time Map Visualization:

    • Displays assets on a live, interactive map, ensuring accurate visual comprehension of asset distribution.

    • Essential for dynamic operational environments, allowing for real-time situational awareness.

 

Performing Live Proximity Search:

  • Define Search Center:

    • Input specific address or drag the middle point in the blue area on the interactive map to select your desired point.

  • Set Search Radius:

    • Radius Slider: Adjust the radius slider to define the distance (in meters or kilometres) from the centre point. This determines the area in which assets will be searched.

  • Execute Search:

    • Click the Run Query button to retrieve and display assets within the defined parameters

 

Map Controls:

  • Zoom Control:

    • Adjusts the map scale to show larger geographic regions or detailed local areas.

  • Radius Slider:

    • Allows the user to adjust the search radius distance directly, dynamically updating the displayed area.

  • Drag & Drop Functionality:

    • Enables easy repositioning of the search area by clicking and dragging the radius circle.

  • Theme/Layer Toggle:

    • Offers options to switch between different map views, including satellite imagery, or terrain views, providing varied contextual information.

  • Map Interaction Tools:

    • Includes interactive features such as zoom buttons, click-and-drag map navigation, and a full screen mode for enhanced usability and precision.
