Profiles Menu
The Profiles menu allows administrators to create and manage specific configurations applied to assets, users, or operational scenarios. Profiles simplify configuration management and enhance consistency across your operations.
Counters Profile
Counters are profiles configured to track and accumulate and count the time for specific asset states or conditions, such as:
-
Temperature thresholds (e.g., how long the temperature was above a certain degree)
-
Door open duration (e.g., how long a door stays open)
-
Ignition states (e.g., how long the Ignition was ON)
-
Current monitoring (e.g., current draw above a defined threshold)
Click Add Profile to create custom counters that suit your operational tracking needs.
Here is a guide on how to create and set Custom Counters to assets.

Working Hours Profile
Define profiles that outline operational schedules for assets or locations, such as:
-
Standard business hours (e.g., Weekdays from 8 AM to 6 PM)
-
Weekend schedules
-
Custom time frames for specific asset groups
These profiles help automate reporting and workflow alerts.
Here is a guide on how to create and set Working Hours profiles to assets.

Asset Sharing Profile
Asset Sharing profiles allow controlled sharing of asset information with other tenants or external parties. You can manage profiles that define:
-
Which assets are shared
-
Levels of information visibility
-
Specific use-cases like servicing or demonstration purposes
This functionality ensures data sharing is secure and precisely controlled.
Here is a guide on how to create Asset Sharing Profiles.

Markers Profile
Markers profiles are used to highlight or categorise important operational events or data points. You can configure these profiles to identify and clearly display significant conditions or markers within Perspio, limited to a maximum of five marker profiles.

More information on creating Marker Profiles here.
Users Profiles
User profiles are used to create pre-defined user permissions, making them more consistent across your userbase. Key benefits:
-
Role Consistency: Standardises data and tool access across identical job functions automatically.
-
Granular Visibility: Controls information exposure by setting precise data access levels per profile.

This functionality ensures user permissions are consistent across roles in your tenant, making it easier to set permissions for Customers and Organisation users. More information in creating user profiles here.
Documents Pofiles
Documents Profiles in Perspio allow administrators to standardise and manage document-related resources such as files, images, and external links across assets of the same type.
By using a Documents Profile, you ensure that consistent documentation is available for all similar assets without needing to upload files individually per asset.

See more information in creating Documents Profiles here.
