By hiding an asset, you ensure that it is excluded from ongoing telemetry processing, whether the asset was decommissioned, sold or taken out of the operation. This helps you maintain historical record while optimizing UI clutter.
NOTE: Hiding assets from the UI does not stop the billing for these assets. If you wish to fully decommission an asset provided by Inauro, please feel free to contact us: servicedesk@perspio.io.
Assets coming through APIs and that the devices are not managed by Inauro need to be disabled first in their portal and then hidden in Perspio.
1. Click on Inspector
2. Click on an Asset
3. Click on the Archive Button
4. Confirm the Operation by Clicking Archive Anyway.
This will hide the asset from the UI and Stop data ingestion.
5. Click the ON Button to Reverse the Operation
By clicking the ON Button located in the same position of the Archive Button, the asset will become Active, resuming data ingestion and operations.
