How to Hide Assets from the UI

This article shows how to hide assets from the user interface. This can be useful when an asset has been decommissioned or sold, but its data needs to be retained for historical records.

By hiding an asset, you ensure that it is excluded from ongoing telemetry processing, whether the asset was decommissioned, sold or taken out of the operation. This helps you maintain historical record while optimizing UI clutter.

Note: Hiding assets from the UI does not stop the billing for these assets. If you wish to fully decommission an asset provided by Inauro, please feel free to contact us: support@inauro.io.

Assets coming through APIs and that the devices are not managed by Inauro need to be disabled first in their portal and then hidden in Perspio.
