How to Edit a Group
This article explains how to edit a Group's Details and Asset Membership. This article is valid for Asset Groups and Security Groups.
If a group's purpose changes or needs to be adjusted, there is no need to create a new Group from scratch. Follow the steps below to edit a Group's Details and Asset Membership.
1. Click on Groups

2. Select the Group you wish to Edit

3. Click on Configuration to Edit the Group's Details
Click on Edit at the top right corner to edit the Group's Details. All Details can be edited except for the Created Date. After finishing the edits, click Save on the top right corner to Confirm or Discard to revert the operation.
5. Click on Asset Members to Edit the Group Membership Type and Asset Members
This screen allows editing both Membership Type and Asset Members.

It is important to note that changing the Membership Type will erase the current settings, meaning that if a Group is Dynamic, the condition needs to be built again. If a Group is Manual, the Assets need to be manually selected again.
To manually select the Assets, just click on the Drop-Down Menu and mark the Assets you wish to include in the Group.
When changing to a Dynamic Group, the screen will prompt you to create a new Condition to dynamically Group the Assets. Click on Edit to start building a new condition.
Proceed building your condition and click Save when done or Discard to cancel any changes. For more information on how to operate the Condition Builder, refer to this article.
