How do I Calibrate Odometer in Perspio?

This is a quick guide on how to calibrate Odometer in Perspio to reflect actual device Odometer.

This feature lets you calibrate Odometer in Perspio so they match your logs or other registers when telemetry data doesn’t align with your recorded usage. Adjusting the Odometer ensures that your asset monitoring accurately reflects real-world operations.

This needs to be performed right after a Device Install so Perspio reflects the correct data from the start, ensuring the correct data is being used by the Servicing Module among other functionalities.

 

1. Click on Configuration on Asset Snapshot

2. Click on Calibration

3. Click on Edit in the Odometer Section

4. Choose Perspio as preferred Odometer source and proceed to edit the value.

This allows you to calibrate the asset odometer according to your logs in the Perspio field. Perspio  generates odometer based on telemetry, but they can be different due to loss of connectivity with the device or install faults.

5. Click on Save to confirm the action.

This ensures that Odometer readings are sent correctly to other integrated systems and that Reports, Dashboards and Workflows can reflect real life data.
