Hitachi EZEIO Report

Gain insights into Hitachi compressor telemetry including temperature, pressure and runtime metrics.

Overview

The Hitachi EZEIO Report is a purpose-built telemetry report designed for assets equipped with Hitachi EZEIO-based devices. It captures high-resolution data on asset performance, including Run Hours, Line Pressure, Compressor Temperature, and Ambient Temperature—sourced directly from the connected sensors via EZEIO schema templates.

This report provides asset managers with a clear view of operational behaviour and environmental conditions, facilitating preventative maintenance, temperature compliance monitoring, and runtime analysis for heavy equipment such as industrial air compressors.

Each row in the report corresponds to an asset's telemetry profile over the selected date range, with minimum and maximum values calculated for each metric.

Report Structure

The generated report includes the following data columns:

Column Name Description
Asset ID The unique identifier of the telemetry unit reporting the data.
Asset Name Friendly name or label assigned to the asset (e.g., “160kW VX Air Compressor”).
Run Hours The total operating hours recorded during the reporting period. Presented as a min-max range.
Line Pressure Pressure measurements in the main compressor line. Captured as min-max pressure (in bar or PSI, depending on schema).
Compressor Temperature Temperature range inside the compressor unit, indicating operational stress and heat.
Ambient Temperature External environmental temperature where the compressor is operating. Helps assess conditions affecting performance.

At the bottom of the report, a generation timestamp is displayed along with the local time zone, confirming when the report was produced for audit purposes.

How to Generate the Report

To generate this report in Perspio:

  1. Navigate to: Reports → Asset Telemetry → HITACHI EZEIO Report

  2. Set the Scope to either Range or Relative depending on your required timeframe.

  3. Choose your Time Period (e.g. This Month, Custom Date Range).

  4. Use the Asset Selector to filter for Hitachi EZEIO-enabled devices.

  5. Click Run Report.

Once loaded, results will be displayed in a tabular PDF-style view and are available for export as PDF, PDF/A, XLSX or CSV.

Applicability and Use Cases

The Hitachi EZEIO Report is highly relevant in environments where asset uptime, temperature compliance, and mechanical stress must be monitored closely. Typical applications include:

  1. Runtime & Operational Load Monitoring
Track compressor usage hours to understand service cycles and identify overuse or underuse.
  2. Maintenance Forecasting
Use temperature and pressure anomalies to predict potential failure or trigger preventative servicing.
  3. Environmental Impact Analysis
Analyse ambient temperature ranges across different sites or time periods to correlate with compressor performance.
  4. Safety & Compliance
Maintain a historical record of operating conditions for audit trails and safety inspections.

Interpreting the Data

  • Wide ranges in temperature or pressure values may indicate irregular usage or harsh environmental conditions.

  • Zeroed-out ranges may reflect inactive periods or data unavailability due to device downtime.

  • Run Hours close together (e.g., 32870.0 – 33387.0) suggest consistent daily operation over the selected timeframe.

  • High compressor temperatures may signal overheating or insufficient cooling and should be flagged for inspection.

Summary

The Hitachi EZEIO Report is an essential tool for teams managing temperature-sensitive or high-load compressor systems. By delivering granular performance data in a structured format, it supports smarter decision-making in maintenance, compliance, and operational planning.
