Asset Groups - Snapshot

Located at the top of the Snapshot tab, this section contains four summary boxes:

Group Name: Displays the name of the selected group.
Group Type: Indicates the group classification, e.g., Asset Group. Other options may include Security Group.
Asset Count: The number of assets currently assigned to the group.
Membership Type: Shows how assets are added. Manual means assets are manually added or removed. Dynamic (if shown) would indicate automation based on rules or integrations.

This interactive Google Map widget displays the real-time geographic location of the assets in the group.

Zoom In/Out (+ / -): Adjusts the zoom level of the map.
Pan (Click and Drag): Allows users to navigate to different parts of the map manually.
Full Screen View (□ icon): Expands the map to full screen for easier navigation and clarity.
Layer Stack Icon (bottom right of the map): Opens options to change the map view (standard, satellite, etc.).
Search (magnifying glass icon): Allows searching for assets or locations if implemented.

The asset icons reflect asset type (e.g., vehicle, equipment) and are placed based on the most recent GPS signal received.

This panel logs all recent additions and removals of assets from the group. Each entry includes:

Asset Name or Label: The asset affected by the change.
Action Type: Either add or remove.
Timestamp: Shows the exact date and time the action took place (e.g., 16/12/24 03:12pm).

This log is useful for fleet managers and system administrators to track adjustments in group composition over time.

Back to Groups: Returns you to the full list of groups.
Copy to Clipboard Icon: Copies the current group, making it easy to duplicate the group as another Asset Group or Security Group.
Delete Group (Bin Icon): Permanently deletes the group. Use with caution—this cannot be undone.

This panel allows navigation between the tabs related to the selected group:

Snapshot (current view): Shows an overview and recent changes.
Configuration: Used to rename the group, change its type, or adjust settings.
Asset Members: Lists all assets currently assigned to the group and allows you to add or remove them.
Geofence Members: Lets you link or unlink geofences to this group.
Audit Logs: Provides a full log of all changes, including user actions, timestamp, and field changes.

The Snapshot tab is typically used by fleet operators, managers, or system administrators to:

Monitor asset distribution geographically.
Track recent group changes.
Quickly verify the group’s metadata before making further changes or investigating an issue.

The Snapshot Tab provides a comprehensive overview of an individual Asset Group, combining operational insights and recent activity in a single view. It helps users quickly verify group configuration, asset distribution, and historical changes to group membership.
