[Configuration](https://help.perspio.io/help/assets?hsLang=en#configuration) # Adding an Asset to an Asset Group through the Asset Inspector ## This article shows how to add an asset to an Asset Group through the Asset Inspector instead of accessing the Group itself. This can be useful when customising an Asset or changing configurations and remembering that the asset needs to be inside a specific group. To add an asset to a group through the Inspector, follow the steps below. This feature only works on Manual Asset Groups. ### 1. Click on Asset Groups Select Asset Groups and proceed to select which groups the asset should be in by clicking the **Add **button. Once inside a group, the button will change to bright red with **Remove**. Click on **Remove **to delete it from the Group. It also possible to export the list by clicking on **Export** in the top right corner. That option does not work for Asset Security Groups.
