[Workflows](https://help.perspio.io/help/workflows?hsLang=en) # How to Use an Asset Information (Variable) into Workflows. ## This article describes a step-by-step guide for adding an Asset Information, or Variable, into a workflow within Perspio   In Workflows, utilizing information from the **Asset Master, Configuration or Telemetry** as a Variable can bring more contact into a Workflow, making it easy to identify why and by which asset the Workflow was triggered at a glance. Follow the steps below to add Variables to your Workflows: ### 1. Using the Variable in the Workflow Type the additional language you want in the body of the message. In this example we added "Please Contact" and paste the variable where you want the value to appear.
